About the Wayne Town Center Santa

Ray Beesley, of Paterson, has been portraying Santa since the 70s visiting area churches, scouting troops, and numerous fundraising organizations. He worked in Wayne Towne Center for 18 years until it was closed and knocked down two years ago. But within that time he gained a massive following becoming the most popular Santa in North Jersey.

Beesley plays Santa year-round, sporting a Bahamas-style shirt, red shorts, and boat shoes in the off season when he visits such places as Jersey Jackals and Somerset Patriots baseball games, asking only for game tickets for wheelchair-bound kids in return.
